FAMILY MOVIES
It's hard to find movies or TV shows that the entire family can enjoy. Below are some of my favorites. Some I saw when I was a child, and some I saw with my child. They portray positive values, wholesome characters and storylines. There are too many to list, but if you go to Amazon, you'll fine a great list by clicking any of the titles below, and entering "family movies" as a search term.
The Wizard of Oz (70th Anniversary Two-Disc Special Edition) ***** (an all-time classic)
The Little Mermaid (Two-Disc Platinum Edition) ****
The Sound of Music (Two-Disc 40th Anniversary Special Edition) ***** (great family values here)
Wall-E (Single-Disc Edition) ***** (simply charming in its story line)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ***** (saw this is a kid, still remember it vividly)
Race to Witch Mountain (Single-Disc Edition) ****
The Music Man (Special Edition) ***** (still fresh after all these years)
Mary Poppins (45th Anniversary Special Edition) ***** (one of the most charming family movies, ever)
Arsenic and Old Lace ***** (this will still be popular in the 22nd century)
Pinocchio (Two-Disc 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition) *****
The Princess Bride (20th Anniversary Edition) ****
